LIVING & WORKING IN WATERFORD
Voted as the Best City to Live in by the Irish Times, Waterford is a thriving community that is finally earning the recognition we all knew it deserved.
The city and region surrounding it has been transformed in recent years and now boasts some incredible beaches and amenities all within easy reach. This includes the much heralded Waterford Greenway, a public walking and cycling route that stretches for 46km, and of course all that the Waterford Viking Triangle has to offer.
Located just a two-hour drive from Dublin, Waterford has great public primary and secondary schools as well as the Waterford Institute of Technology, the Waterford College of Further Education, and Waterford University Hospital.
A relatively small city with a population of just over 53,000, Waterford is a down-to-earth place that has an extremely friendly vibe with the city’s most popular pubs, shops, and restaurants all located within walking distance of the city centre.
The Eirgen campus is located just a short ten-minute drive from the city centre with easy access to public transport. We're within commuting distance across the County of Waterford as well as Carlow, Wexford, Kilkenny, Tipperary and Cork.
