Eirgen Pharma’s 2025 Gender Pay Gap Report outlines our current gender representation, pay gap metrics, and actions to foster a more inclusive and equitable workplace. As a research-driven specialist in high-potency human and veterinary oral solid dose products, we employ over 160 people at our Waterford site. We are committed to maintaining dignity, respect, and diversity across our workforce.
This report highlights a significant improvement. The gender pay gap has decreased from 15.3% in 2024 to 10.3% in 2025. This progress is largely driven by the strong internal development of female talent. Notably, 56% of promotions awarded this year went to women, and 52% of leadership roles are now held by women.
Factors Influencing the Pay Gap
The report explains the factors influencing mean and median pay gaps across full-time, part-time, and temporary employees. It notes that disparities often stem from gender representation at different organisational levels rather than unequal pay for equal work.
Our Commitment to Diversity
At Eirgen, we believe that diversity is not just a metric; it is a core value. Our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment is reflected in our hiring practices and professional development programs. We strive to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute.
Supporting Female Talent
We are proud of our initiatives aimed at supporting female talent within our organisation. By providing mentorship programs and leadership training, we ensure that women have the resources they need to excel in their careers. This focus on development is essential for closing the gender pay gap and promoting equality.
Looking Ahead
As we move forward, we remain dedicated to reducing the gender pay gap further. Our goal is to create a workplace that not only meets but exceeds industry standards for gender equity. We will continue to monitor our progress and adapt our strategies as needed.
The Importance of Gender Equity in the Workplace
Gender equity is crucial for fostering a positive work environment. It enhances collaboration, drives innovation, and improves overall employee satisfaction. When everyone feels included, they are more likely to contribute their best ideas and efforts. This not only benefits our employees but also strengthens our company as a whole.
Building a Culture of Inclusion
Creating a culture of inclusion requires ongoing effort. We actively seek feedback from our employees to understand their experiences and perspectives. This feedback informs our policies and practices, ensuring they align with our commitment to diversity. We believe that everyone should have a voice in shaping our workplace.
Celebrating Achievements
Recognizing and celebrating achievements is vital for maintaining momentum. We take pride in highlighting the successes of our female employees and their contributions to our company. By sharing these stories, we inspire others and reinforce our commitment to gender equity.
Collaborating for Change
Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. We work closely with various stakeholders, including industry partners and community organizations, to promote gender equity. By joining forces, we can amplify our impact and drive meaningful change across the sector.
Continuous Improvement
We understand that achieving gender equity is an ongoing journey. We regularly review our practices and policies to identify areas for improvement. This commitment to continuous improvement ensures that we remain at the forefront of promoting equality in the workplace.
